Last year, when we were buried under the weight of lockdown, Macknade came to the rescue with a Cook at Home Recipe Kit for Valentine’s Day. This year their Three Course Valentine’s Recipe Box is once again available to order, but this time available for delivery nationwide. So even those outside of Kent can enjoy the Macknade experience.

The Grazing Platter with a selection of cheeses, charcuteries and olives is the perfect informal starter to get the evening started while the Prime Scotch Fillet Steak is cooking. For those preferring a vegetarian option, there is a rich Mushroom & Truffle Orzo Risotto to enjoy. The menu is completed with a refreshing Blood Orange Syllabub for dessert.

As you would expect from Macknade, the ingredients are sourced locally; like the Anno Distillers Lemon Vodka for the Syllabub, or sourced from close contacts in Italy; like the unwaxed & spray free Tarocco blood oranges, grown by the Laudani family in Sicily.
