Matt Sworder is the chef behind the Canterbury and Minister based restaurants, both known as The Corner House. The food is known for its use of seasonal local ingredients, prepared simply and cooked beautifully. The recipes in his new The Corner House Cookbook emulate this perfectly.
The new Cookbook includes more than 40 recipes, carefully selected by chef Matt Sworder to represent the most popular dishes from the past five years.
The dishes are all graded easy, medium and difficult, from a simple cauliflower soup to a slightly more challenging pea panna cotta with crab and apple.
Having worked for top London chefs like Anthony Demetre and Adam Byatt, Matt knew that there were few better places than Kent to roll out such a eating concept and he has now built a fantastic reputation in the local area and beyond.
The book will also celebrate the fantastic produce available in and around Kent and profiles of the restaurants’ key suppliers will also feature in the book.
The Corner House Cookbook is available for preorder online here: https://www.cornerhouserestaurants.co.uk/the-cookbook and will be available to purchase from a range of stockists, including both of The Corner House restaurants, from May 2019. Priced at just £20.
Ooooh I love the Corner House.
